MISS GENDER

Welcome to Miss Gender – a glitter-covered, queer, and playful corner of the internet. Grab your tea, fidget toy, or notebook, and take a deep breath.

Miss Gender is the evolving creative practice and project of Kat, a trans, disabled, and neurodivergent artist and writer based in Wappinger, Mohican, and Munsee Lenape lands in Southern Connecticut.

Kat creates visual art focused on queer and disabled joy, the lives that exist between imposed binaries, and quiet acts of individual and collective care.

They also write fiction, poetry, and non-fiction rooted in the thoughts and feelings tangled around our every waking moment, but the world often teaches us to hide.

Kat hopes that by rendering moments of vulnerability, pleasure, and intimacy as visible, collective understanding and joy can grow.
